But before I get to that, I wanted to share a little about me and share my journey from right where you probably are to where I am today.

So, let me tell you a little about me and how I got into this marketing thing and figured this out.

I grew up poor. My parents were teenage parents, divorced by the time I was 3, my mom remarried. I’m the oldest of 4, and because things were not great at home, I endured trauma and abuse. I left home at age 16 and moved 3 states away! 

 

I met my husband shortly after and we were married by the time I was 18.

The cool thing was he was older than me; he was 22, and he had graduated tech school in Wyoming and had been at his job at an International Dealership for about 2 years when we married. 

 

We were able to buy a little house out in the country just outside my hometown in South Texas, but it was tiny. Think Little House on the Prairie. But we were happy. 

 

Life was definitely not easy. My husband didn’t have a great foundation for finances since his parents were poor and he grew up in a Winnebago, on a water well, and a generator for electricity, and his dad dug their own septic tank. Things were very tough for his family!

But he was a hard worker, he was very resourceful, and he knew he wanted more for himself and his family than what he had been given. 

Eventually, word-of-mouth spread, and the oil boom hit South Texas, and off we went.

 

We added another child to our family and really felt like we were doing good. By 2016, we had 3 children and had just added onto our home, which was a dream come true, but we wanted to do so much more in the business! 

 

My husband wanted to work with bigger companies, work on larger equipment, hire more help, and offer more services to his customers. But how were we going to do this?

He was one man in one mobile truck.

So I started researching some stuff online and came across a lead generation course, paid a bunch of money, learned a TON of stuff, and instead of using it for traditional lead generation (think Angie’s List or Thumbtack), I used the strategies I learned in our little family business. 

 

Some things started working, But I was left really confused. After jumping into that course I was inundated with marketing groups, strategies by every guru imaginable, free masterclasses, I was wasting hours on webinar after webinar, and staying up sometimes till 5 am just to learn some of this stuff. 

 

Mind you I had 3 kids at the time and one I was still nursing at that point. 

 

To say I was overwhelmed and exhausted was an understatement. This marketing thing was like a can of worms I could not put a lid on. There was no going back to the simple way things were. 

 

By 2017, the business was doing well and we were being contacted by larger businesses, out of state corporations who were finding us online, and my husband’s phone was ringing all the time. He was booked for almost 2 and 3 weeks straight to the point we had to turn customers away, and we eventually raised our prices. 

 

But this was not a win-win. I was completely stressed, racking up credit card debt paying for courses, and tools all the gurus said I needed that would be the magic cure for this marketing. 

 

My health was suffering and I was diagnosed with Epstein-Barr, our marriage was rocky, and our business felt all over the place.

 

You’d think I’d have been happy about how well our business was doing, but if you’ve ever been in business before you know it’s not that simple. 

 

You get shiny-object syndrome and you are on this perpetual course to chase down this magical unicorn. And on top of that you begin dealing with all of the mindset stuff from your past experiences. 

 

Oh gosh! No one gets into business so they can work on personal growth! 

By the end of 2017 I was pregnant with baby #4, our marriage was in the worst place we’ve ever been, and our business had just shut down one location because we had grown so fast that we hired the wrong people. He hired the wrong people!

 

Mistakes, believe me, I’ve made them, and business can be a rollercoaster. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. 

 

For a while, I took a step back from everything and just did very basic things to run my husband’s marketing and my agency. 

 

I suffer from Hyperemesis during pregnancy and it’s debilitating, so I couldn’t really focus on anything else. There’s a whole testimony here, but I won’t get into that.

 

 In 2018 we had our 4th child and then God did something pretty amazing, He not only restored our marriage completely but He gave us a completely different vision and a focus for our business and our family. 

 

Through a series of some pretty amazing Christian leaders in business who I had started listening to, my passion for this marketing industry really began to take shape.

 

But this time I was wiser and knew the pitfalls to ignore. I invested only in what I knew would make a huge impact and honestly it’s not what you’d think. 

 

I spent the next 5 years focusing on my mindset, my family, healing my childhood trauma, and growing in a deeper more loving relationship with my husband. 

 

And I developed a simple but proven Online Attraction formula that would grow any service-based or brick-and-mortar business.

That’s where my marketing mastery system was born. For 2 years, I worked to create a system any business owner could replicate. It applies only to local service-based businesses or brick-and-mortar businesses. Lots of trial and error, but I was motivated! And that’s the system I’m going to share with you on our call.

 

You don’t have to make the mistakes I’ve made or waste the time and money that I did. I’ve been able to prove this system, client after client, business after business. What I know is what works right now. I like to call them “ninja’ skills. Cut through the noise, the fluff, and the garbage, and do something that will really grow your business.
